Formaldehyde

  • SOU Theatre Studio 227 University Way Ashland, OR, 97520 (map)

Formaldehyde derives from a love for the creepy and off-putting, and also the uniquely human need for life beyond death. This screenplay follows Margot, a taxidermist-in-training with a god-heavy hand and a god-complex boyfriend, Damon. When her creations talk back, where does the line between reality and illusion land? Was there ever one to begin with? Today, Formaldehyde is a table read, but may soon become a real-life film. But what is real life anyway?
