LIKE A THOUSAND PEARLS (2024) offers eight songs on the themes of self love, romantic love, and divine love. The album mixes Casey’s ethereal vocals, harp, ukulele, and sansula melodies with Eden’s autobiographical lyrics and spoken word. Stories are told through upbeat, hopeful romantic ukulele sounds alongside angelic harp, loving fractured pieces of self toward a cosmic identity. The album was recorded with the help of Namid Wolf at tiny choir productions in Ashland, OR.
HEAVENLY FLOWERS is the musical collaboration between poet and artist, Eden Orlando, and singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Casey Gina, in southern Oregon. Eden has published two autobiographical books of illustrated poetry, Seed Pearls: Kauai Poems (2020) and My Perfect Offering: A Novel in Poems (2021). The songs on Casey’s debut album, Heart of Hearts (2023), flowed from her study of A Course in Miracles. After a friend’s suggestion, they began crafting original songs together in 2022.
