This Body is a Prism is a collection of pieces based in familial history and an exploration of the way we are all made up of a kaleidoscope of stories, lands, and histories. This collection reflects on the legacy of traditional folk art and textile craft and reshapes it in a new and unconventional way. The overall multidisciplinary nature of the work represents the tapestry of the body and ancestry.
