A solo storytelling-based play about moving back to the US to the family that hates you. What it's like being an actor in a part of the world that doesn't see it as a viable job option: rural Washington. Under the passive aggressive rain cloud that is the PNW in winter. Maria Santiago (she/her) is a writer from the extreme southwest. She double majored at a private liberal arts university and has been paying for it ever since. Her areas of advocacy include gender and racial equality, as well as promoting the pursuit of mental health.

Aurora Rupert (she/they) is a theatre-artist based in the pacific northwest who has two decades of experience working in all areas of performance, including onstage, backstage, and in leadership. BA Theatre Arts, WWU; MA Acting, East 15. Aurora is also an activist, advocating for pay equity, healthy working conditions, and diverse representation in the performing arts.
