Dear Friends and Supporters of the Oregon Fringe Festival,
For over a decade, the Oregon Center for the Arts (OCA) has thrilled Southern Oregon audiences with the bold and innovative programming of the Oregon Fringe Festival (OFF), culminating in last year's festival featuring 97 performances across 28 venues. Because OFF has been a free event throughout its run, the OCA has made the difficult decision to place an indefinite pause on festival planning while we consider potential funding sources for future iterations of OFF.
While the OCA will not be producing OFF in 2025, we’re excited to share that a talented group of enterprising Southern Oregon University alumni are launching a new festival inspired by OFF — the Ashland Fringe Festival. Though not officially affiliated with the university or the OCA, Ashland Fringe will embody the same adventurous spirit and is led by experienced OFF producers who will carry the Fringe legacy forward in Southern Oregon. We can’t wait to see the creative energy they bring to our community!
For questions regarding the future of OFF, please contact the Andrew Kenneth Gay, Executive Director of the Oregon Center for the Arts. To learn more about Ashland Fringe, visit ashlandfringe.org and follow @ashlandfringe on Instagram.
Thank you for your continued support of the arts,
The Oregon Center for the Arts
